This ELISA kit uses quantitative-ELISA as the method. The Micro-elisa strip plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to cardiac troponin I. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate Micro-elisa strip plate wells and combined to the specific antibody. Then a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for cardiac troponin I is added to each Micro-elisa strip plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain cardiac troponin I and HRP conjugated cardiac troponin I antibody will appear blue in color and then turn yellow after the addition of the stop solution. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of cardiac troponin I

This assay uses the quantitative enzyme immunoassay method. The provided microtiter plate in the kit is pre-coated with cTnT/TNNT2(Troponin T Type 2, Cardiac). Standards or samples are added to the appropriate wells of the microtiter plate, along with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to cTnT/TNNT2(Troponin T Type 2, Cardiac). Then, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each well and incubated. Following this, TMB substrate solution is added. Only the wells that contain cTnT/TNNT2(Troponin T Type 2, Cardiac), biotin-conjugated antibody, and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will show a color change. The enzyme-substrate reaction is stopped by adding a sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of cTnT/TNNT2(Troponin T Type 2, Cardiac) in the samples is determined by comparing the optical density (OD) of the samples to the standard curve.
